31 Days of Halloween #2: Fantasy Makers 2011 Nail Polish

2011 Fantasy Makers Nail Polish Collection

I didn’t intend to post another nail polish entry so soon, but I saw these at Walgreens a few days ago, and I had to snatch them up and share them with all of you. Fantasy Makers comes out with a new line of polish and other fun Halloween cosmetics every year. I’m such a sucker for the unique packaging. As soon as I saw these adorable tombstone bottles, I snatched up 3 out of the 4 colors in the collection. At $1.99 each, they’re a steal. The color I didn’t buy is one called Black Magic, a metallic glitter in a black base. I passed on it since I don’t usually wear a lot of black polish.

In the picture from left to right, we have Night Glow, Creepy Pumpkin, and Purple Potion.
2011 Fantasy Makers Nail Polish Collection - Purple Potion

I am planning on saving Creepy Pumpkin and Night Glow to wear when we are a bit closer to Halloween, but I had to get Purple Potion on my nails immediately.  It’s a vampy dark purple, almost black, and is full of a super-fine metallic purple glitter.  For a cheap polish, the formula is great and goes on relatively easy.  It’s shown here with a single coat of Seche Vite which is, if you don’t already know, the most amazing quick-dry topcoat on the planet.

This post is part of the 31 Days of Halloween series.

  1. Currently it sounds like Movable Type is the best blogging platform available right
now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are
