What’s Our Blog About?
The name Brownie Bites comes from a common mispronunciation of our last name, Browne. We have that pesky extra letter on the end of our otherwise very common name and we often hear it mispronounced as a well-loved chocolate-y treat. Since this is a lifestyle blog, the word “Bites” seemed appropriate. Our blog is full of “bites” of our lives, many of which revolve around food. Kinda perfect, no?
We’re a couple of 30-something geeks living in East Tennessee with our son, Jasper, our daughter, Shelby – yeah, that photo up there is outdated by a few years – and a gaggle of four-legged fur brains.
TASTES: This is the section where you will find recipes, either our own or round-ups of fun culinary delights that we’ve discovered elsewhere on the great interwebs. This is also where we will post food and food product reviews, restaurant tours, and kitchen-related tips and tricks.
TALES: Our own personal journal – if we have a funny or interesting story to tell, this is where it’ll be.
TRIPS: Anything travel-related can be found here, including photo-rich trip reports, guides about what to do and where to eat, hotel and campground tours, and more.

Press and Familiarization Trips or Events
Because we enjoy flexibility in our family’s day-to-day schedule, we would be happy to represent and promote your brand at an event. During the trip, your brand or message will be actively promoted through social media with a heavy lean toward Instagram and Twitter using relevant hashtags. Upon return, blog posts will be published that detail the activities, events, restaurants, excursions, etc. that were experienced during the trip. The posts will be filled with professional quality photos, promoted through social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest), and will include Pinterest-optimized image collages.
