Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons granulated white sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- Small pinch of salt
- 1 cup prepared sweetened tapioca pearls/boba popping pearls, optional
- 24 ounces strongly-brewed tea of choice, chilled, unsweetened
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add cream cheese and sugar. Mix using a hand mixer until light and smooth.
- Add whipping cream, milk, and salt to bowl. Mix on medium speed for 1 minute, then increase speed to high and whip until foam is light and holds its shape.
- Distribute popping pearls, if using, to two tall glasses. Add chilled tea to each glass, leaving room at the top for foam. Spoon foam onto top of tea and serve.
Notes
I recommend making the cheese tea foam immediately before serving for the best texture

- Electric Tea Kettle - you can boil water in a pan on your stove, but an electric tea kettle lets you better control the temperature of the water.
