Description

These super cheesy sliders are easy to make for parties, crowds, or a fun lunch at home. Using sweet Hawaiian rolls and topped with Everything seasoning, you'll love these!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls, sliced open (or use the pre-sliced version)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • 1/2 medium sweet onion, finely-chopped
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, or as desired
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup, or as desired
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Lightly spray a rimmed baking sheet or pan with cooking spray. Add bottom half of sliders. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef and break into small bits using a spatula. Drain out most of the grease. Season with a few shakes each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add onion, stir, and cook until slightly softened. I like the onions to have a little crunch left to better mimic the flavor of a cheeseburger. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
  4. Spread bottom layer of sliders with mayonnaise, adding more if needed. Cover with 4 slices of cheese. Spread beef mixture evenly over the cheese, and then top with a second layer of cheese using the 4 remaining slices.
  5. Spread ketchup - adding more if needed - on the underside of the top half of sliders. Place on top of the layers.
  6. Brush tops of rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with Everything seasoning. Bake uncovered for about 13 minutes or until cheese is melty and tops of rolls are slightly golden.

Notes

Double or triple the recipe for a crowd.

If you don't have/can't find Everything seasoning, sprinkle with plain sesame seeds
