Ingredients

- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- Small pinch of salt
- 8 oz dark rum
Instructions
- Using a whisk or a hand mixer, cream the butter with the brown sugar and spices.
- Add 2 heaping tablespoons to 4 or 5 small (~6oz) mugs.
- Add 1.5-2oz of rum to each mug.
- Fill the mugs with boiling water and stir to combine. Serve hot.
