Ingredients

- 8 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1/4 cup (half stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup no-stir natural peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- Autumn Leaves and Pumpkin Mellowcremes (I used about 2 cups)
- Additional fall-themed M&Ms, if desired.
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Add peanut butter, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined and remove from heat. Let cool 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, add Rice Chex cereal. Add chocolate mixture and fold gently until coated, being careful not to crush the cereal.
- Add powdered sugar in 3 additions, shaking the bowl to flip the cereal around, until coated (you can also shake cereal and sugar in a large zip top bag)
- Add candies and fold to combine.
