Turkey burgers don't have to be boring! These are loaded with flavors like orange juice and soy and are spread with a low calorie Greek yogurt aioli.

Ingredients

  • Turkey Burger
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 TBS orange juice, from fresh
  • 1 TBS low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • Greek Yogurt Aioli
  • 1 5.3 or 6oz container plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 TBS Dijon mustard
  • 1 TBS honey
  • 1 tsp orange juice, from fresh
  • 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 6 hamburger buns of any kind
  • Baby spinach or lettuce, fresh tomato, or any other vegetables of choice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the turkey burgers in a bowl, mixing with a spoon or with clean hands until everything is well incorporated. Separate the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into patties.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Spray with cooking spray and cook patties until well done, about 6 minutes per side.
  3. While the patties are cooking, stir together all ingredients for aioli in a medium bowl.
  4. Serve patties on buns spread with aioli and top with lettuce or spinach, tomato, or any other vegetables you like.
