Breaking Bad is one of the most talked about shows on television right now, and what's more fun than having over a few friends for a viewing party?  Maybe for the big series finale on September 29th?  Here are some fun ideas I put together to help you throw a simple but impressive theme party!

    What to serve:

    breaking-bad-roof-pizza

Pizza - Doesn't get any easier than that, right?  Whether you make your own or have an assortment of your friends' favorites delivered right to your door, pizza has several ties with the show.  As a bonus, leave your homemade pizza un-sliced to match the show versions, or ask the delivery place if they will leave your pizza uncut.  Going outside and hurling your pizza onto the roof is optional, but if you do, please send me pictures.

Fried Chicken and Tater Tots with Madrigal sauces - This is another one that's super easy to pull together - just call up your favorite chicken joint and you're done!  If you're looking for a lighter option, you can try our recipe for baked chicken nuggets.  Don't forget to scroll below to print your very own Los Pollos Hermanos logo to use to give your chicken an extra special touch!

But wait, you guys haven't forgotten THIS rather uncomfortable scene, have you?

    madrigal-sauces

That's what I thought.  Your friends will appreciate your attention to detail when you serve up an assortment of sauces straight from the Madrigal testing lab.  Here's how to do it!

Honey Mustard - use your favorite!
Franch - Mix equal amounts of French and Ranch dressings.
Cajun Kick-Ass - Use any spicy cajun dipping sauce, or whip one up from scratch!
Smoky Mesquite BBQ - Use your favorite bottled variety.
Ketchup - This last one is essentially just ketchup.

Heisenburgers - I know, har har har, right?  But come on, serving up some hamburgers and attaching that name to it is bound to get a laugh.  Just make sure your burgers include bacon to ensure they are most definitely Heisenberg-approved.

Breakfast for Dinner - Any fan of the show knows that we get to join the Whites at the breakfast table on an almost weekly basis, and since everyone loves breakfast for dinner, why not?  You can go as simple as Raisin Bran (Make sure it's Raisin Brain Crunch! It says it right there on the box!), pancakes, or a plate of bacon and eggs.  Arrange the bacon into numbers to indicate the ages of your guests for a personal touch.

So now that you've got the main course taken care of, what about everything else?

    breaking-bad-funyuns

Funyuns - Yeah, you knew it was coming.  Jesse's favorite snack during a weekend cook retreat.

    blue-rock-candy

Blue Rock Candy - Whether you use this as a snack, decor, or party favors, it's pretty much a "must have".  You can get a whole pound of the stuff from Amazon, with free shipping for Prime members!  Now, remember that we want to keep this party clean 'n legal, so don't you all be serving up anything stronger than this sugary blue glass, got it?  You promise?  Okay good, let's carry on.

    mango-margarita

Spicy Pineapple Mango Margaritas - Houston's best margaritas come in various styles. You cannot miss out. This delicious and summery margarita contains pineapple juice and diced mango with muddled cilantro.  What does this have to do with Breaking Bad, you ask?  Well, to add a little kick to this one, the glass is rimmed with salt and a very special ingredient... Chili P.  Get the recipe right here!

    schraderbrau-logo

Schraderbrau - Ah, home brewed to silky perfection.  Nothing fancy here, just replace existing beer bottle labels with Hank's own version.   Click on the logo to the right to print up a full page of them!  Glue them on, and you're ready to go!

    breaking-bad-cupcake-toppers
Cupcake Toppers - No special decorating skills required here!  Whip up a batch of your favorite cupcake recipe (or use a box mix, that's totally okay!) and top your cupcakes with these adorable toppers that I put together just for you guys!

    How to use the toppers:

    1. Click on the image (or here) to print a page of labels.  Printing them on a thick paper like cardstock will help them keep their shape.
    2. Using a small amount of glue or double-sided tape, attach the topper to a lollipop stick, available at most craft stores, or you can get them here.
    3. If desired, attach a second topper to the backside of the first one, so that your cupcakes look great from any angle!

Easy peasy!  You can even sprinkle a little of that blue rock candy on your cupcakes for an extra somethin' somethin'.

    Other Printables:

I put together some fun food labels to help you add some simple decor to your spread.  Print them on thick cardstock for best results, or you can print them on regular paper and then glue them onto a stiffer surface. Click on the image below to bring up the full size version to print!

And here's that Los Pollos Hermanos logo I promised!  Just click on the picture to print!

    Decor:

You can get away with going simple for decor, but here are a couple of ideas!

    blue-beaker-with-dry-ice

    1. Glass Beakers - Laboratory glassware is fairly inexpensive and can be used as decor or to serve drinks and snacks!  Fill them up with munchies, create a blue and green candy buffet, or simply sit them around filled with different-colored liquid for a nice effect.  Want to really wow your guests?  Drop in a chunk of dry ice!  You can purchase a set of glass beakers from Amazon right here.

    money-stacks

    2. Fat Stacks - Place a bunch of play money around, especially in odd places like inside of the refrigerator, the bathroom, etc.  Purchase play money right here.

If you do have a party, take lots of pictures and be sure to come back here and share them with me so I can see!  And for all of you pinners out here, here's an image you can use to save these ideas to your board:

With the advent of technology, a lot more of materials are now being used in making several kinds of metal roofs.
Instead of the giant towering metal antennas of yesterday, you can get even better
performance with a smaller digital antenna that mounts on the side of your house.
A piece of advice, always scout for professional installers so your
metal roofing would be worth your every penny.
