    You can find the glass bowls online (they're called ivy bowls) but they are so overpriced!  I recommend going to Wal-Mart or a craft store and you can find them for a dollar or less.

    I could not find a tutorial for this cake, but it seems pretty straightforward.  You could use a big round cake pan (I'm gonna guess a 10") for the head and tail.  Slice it in half and use one half for the face, and cut out a triangular notch on the straight side of the remaining half for the tail.  Position the cupcakes and use any small round or star pastry tip to pipe on some texture in the frosting.  For the face, it looks like it is just a paper cut-out, either drawn by hand or printed from online.
