Our Thanksgiving celebrations started the weekend before when Matt's brother and his family came to town. This was the first time this particular group has been together to celebrate Thanksgiving together and the first time Matt's brother has had a chance to see his parents' lovely new home.
There's a few extra little people now than there used to be.
The kids loved running laps around the porches!
Thankfully, it was a beautiful day to be playing outside.
There's no telling what Jasper is telling his cousin Ellie about what he's seeing.
Ellie's second time visiting the new house!
Grandpa had to join in on the fun.
Don't you love those stiff fake smiles at this age? Haha.
Katie and Diane put together these adorable silverware holders for the table.
Whatcha watchin'? Can I see?
Of course, we feasted.
Smile!
Smile!!
Okay last one we promise, smile!
Fine, one more.
After dinner there was still some daylight left to play outside on the driveway with some sidewalk chalk.
And Jasper's favorite, the "woggly" bridge toy.
Oof.
On Thanksgiving, my sister was hosting, so my side of the family got together for a late lunch.
There was, of course, more feasting.
She has a habit of holding her water in her mouth like this before swallowing it. It's so funny.
Afterwards, all the kids just needed to get outside and run. Badly.
Can he wear sweater vests every day??
No telling what he was narrating/explaining/showing here. The kid is a never ending stream of consciousness.
Shelby had a BFF at this celebration, too!
Monkey see, monkey do.
