We woke up the morning of our Grand Cayman port to a nice view, even though the weather was still looking a little iffy.
We got dressed, grabbed our bags, and waited for the announcement that the tender boats were ready to start ferrying people to the mainland. That announcement came, but it was quite different than what we expected! Due to the choppy water, the captain decided it was too dangerous to allow passengers to step across onto the ferry boats, and made the decision to cancel the port.
... bummer.
Matt and I headed up to Cabana's for breakfast, determined that we'd not let the cancelled port spoil any of our fun!
We took in a few of the ship's activities. The schedule of events was updated and reprinted to include new activities to keep people busy, now that we were in for another unplanned sea day! Earlier in the day, they had "baby racing" in the lobby. Babies crawled toward the finish line to receive a prize.. a stuffed Baby Jack Jack. I think one of them actually made it.
A look at the dinner crowds mingling around in the main lobby.
No better way to end a night (after you're stuffed with dinner) than kicking back with one of the amazing shows in the Walt Disney Theater!
Just outside of the theater, Minnie Mouse was dressed up in her best Aladdin gear. The line for pictures was insanely long, but she was nice enough to strike a little pose for me when she saw me point my camera at her!

Because she's Minnie Mouse, and Minnie Mouse is ALWAYS a lady.
