    We learned several lessons this year at Thanksgiving dinner.

    1.  I will never be as good as my sister at adding little touches to make a home feel cozy.

    2. Matt looks like a serial killer in low kitchen lighting.

    3. Never trust your husband to make sure your hair is in place before taking a photo.

    4. Let's go ahead and double that last lesson.

    And finally, when tossing potato peels into the trash, you might want to make sure you open the lid first.
